At Luminance Skincare, using safe, high-quality ingredients is very important. We believe every constituent of a skincare product should be either organic or wildcrafted. Ours are. We believe that ingredients considered separately should all be what skin readily considers a nutrient source and non-threatening. Ours are. Formulating an ideal skincare product is a lot more than assembling a list of good ingredients, it’s understanding the secondary and sometimes tertiary interactions and achieving the ideal ratios. We always do.

      Benefits Of Key Ingredients

      Strawberry Seed Oil

It is a combination of fatty acids, including linoleic acid and alpha-linolenic acid, along with vitamins C and E, make it a valuable addition to facial skincare. It nourishes, protects, soothes, and provides antioxidant defense, promoting healthy, radiant, and well-hydrated facial skin when integrated into a skincare routine.

Incorporating Strawberry Seed Oil into Skincare:

      • Topical Application: Strawberry seed oil can be used as a facial oil, added to skincare products, or used as a massage oil. It's suitable for various skin types.
      1. Linoleic Acid (Omega-6): Linoleic acid is an essential fatty acid that supports the skin's lipid barrier, maintaining its moisture and preventing water loss. It can be beneficial for oily and acne-prone skin, helping to regulate sebum production.
      1. Oleic Acid (Omega-9): Oleic acid is a monounsaturated fatty acid that deeply moisturizes the skin, contributing to its softness and suppleness. It helps create a protective barrier and reduces moisture evaporation.
      1. Palmitic Acid: Palmitic acid forms a protective layer on the skin, preventing moisture loss and promoting skin's smoothness. It contributes to maintaining the skin's barrier function.
      1. Alpha-Linolenic Acid (ALA, Omega-3): Alpha-linolenic acid is an essential fatty acid that supports the skin's health and appearance. It has anti-inflammatory properties, helping to calm and soothe irritated skin.

      Vitamins:

      1. Vitamin C: Vitamin C is a potent antioxidant that protects the skin from environmental damage, boosts collagen production, and promotes a brighter, more even complexion.
      1. Vitamin E (Tocopherol): Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant that helps shield the skin from free radicals and oxidative stress. It supports skin elasticity and reduces the signs of aging.

Benefits of Strawberry Seed Oil for Facial Skin:

      1. Hydration and Nourishment: The combination of linoleic acid and oleic acid helps maintain skin hydration, preventing dryness and maintaining a soft and supple feel.
      2. Barrier Protection: Oleic acid and palmitic acid create a protective barrier on the skin's surface, reducing moisture loss and enhancing the skin's natural defense mechanisms.

      Another winner!

In the past 6 months I have struggled with eczema all over my body and on my face. I have never had issues with my skin until now. When a flare-up on my face is receding, the Strawberry Matcha Tea Serum feels wonderfully soothing after the trauma my skin has been through. The eczema leaves red marks on my face, which I think look a bit better with the serum. Thank you big time on this one Kim!

      Loving this so far!

I have Rosacea, so my face and neck are pretty red and I'm always looking for ways to counteract this. It's probably too soon to tell regarding redness control, but I like everything else about this so far! My skin feels great and it's very moisturizing.
