Every Ingredient in Every Luminance Product: Analysis and Benefits

A Complete Listing of Every Ingredient We Use in Our Entire Product Line. All Organic or Wildcrafted. 100% Plant Based. Completely Clean and Safe.

Briefly, What Does It Mean to be Organic and What Does It Mean to be Wildcrafted?

Where possible, we choose Wildcrafted cultivated to strict organic standards. This is because we typically prefer a small grower who is passionate about what they grow and how they grow their crops. When this isn't possible, we of course elect to use an organic certified ingredient. As one of our customers, what you need to know is that we are extremely careful to make sure everything in our products is 100% plant based and 100% clean.

Organic

  • Organic ingredients in skincare products are derived from plants that are grown and harvested according to specific organic farming standards. These standards often prohibit the use of synthetic pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, and genetically modified organisms (GMOs). Organic farming practices prioritize the health of the soil, the environment, and the people involved in cultivation.

  • Benefits of using organic ingredients: Organic ingredients are typically considered to be more environmentally friendly and have a lower impact on our ecosystems. They are also often free from potentially harmful chemicals, making them beneficial for your skin's health. Organic farming practices can contribute to soil conservation and reduce water pollution.

Wildcrafted

  • Wildcrafted ingredients come from plants that are harvested from their natural, wild habitats rather than being cultivated on farms. These plants are collected in a sustainable and ethical manner, respecting the local ecosystems and the balance of the environment.

  • Benefits of using wildcrafted ingredients: Wildcrafted ingredients are often associated with the idea of capturing the plant's natural potency and energy. Because they are sourced from their native environments, they may contain a unique blend of nutrients and phytochemicals that have developed as a result of the plant's adaptation to its surroundings. While our wildcrafted ingredients are not organically certified, we make sure they are cultivated to organic standards.

Here's Our List of Ingredients for All of Our Products.

  • As we continually improve our existing products and develop new products with new ingredients, this list may not be completely up to date, so if you notice you have an ingredient on your Luminance product label that's not included here please let us know we've left something out and we'll immediately include it.
  • Also note some ingredients here do not have a link to the "Deep Analysis Pages" this is because this is a new disclosure and we're still hard at work writing the Deep Analysis for every ingredient in every product we make. This is on the very top of our priority list to complete so please be patient. -Kim
