Why Cucumber Water Makes Such a Good Facial Toner

Cucumber has been used to calm, cool and refresh skin for hundreds of years. Cucumber water, also called cucumber hydrosol or floral water, is what's left when fresh cucumbers are gently steam-distilled: a light, clear water that carries cucumber's soothing natural character without any oils, alcohol or additives.

We use cool-steam distillation, a slow, low-heat method that protects cucumber's delicate natural compounds, so the toner stays as fresh and gentle as the cucumbers it came from.

Get Ready For A Fresh Springtime Experience

• Keep it cool. This is a very fresh toner. Store it in a cool place, out of direct sunlight. The refrigerator is ideal and makes every spritz extra refreshing.
• After washing your face, hold the bottle about six inches away and spritz your skin a few times with Cucumber Facial Toner. Use just enough to moisten the skin, then gently pat it in until it's almost absorbed.
• Apply moisturizer while your skin is still a little moist: not dripping wet, just slightly damp. You can spritz before and after moisturizer to help it absorb.
• Set your makeup. If your makeup isn't blending well, skip the setting spray and spritz some Cucumber Facial Toner after your powder. It looks seamless on your skin, a natural way to stay looking and feeling fresh all day.
• Refresh anytime. A quick mist during the day cools and revives skin, especially in warm weather or after time in the sun.
