Deeper Details

This Wonderful Oil Blend Gently And Deeply Cleanses Your Pores. Your Skin Will Be Refreshed, Glowing And Soft.

How It Works For All Skin Types

Classically our customers like to experiment with our products trying them in new combinations and using uniquely. We love it that this happens. In the case of Cleanse And Glow Oil, which was initially intended as an oil cleanser for acne prone skin, became popular as an oil cleanse wonderful for all skin types. For years our customers have been telling us that this product does so much more than heal breakouts.

So now we present Cleanse And Glow as a light moisturizer that works beautifully in the morning before you put on your makeup. It leaves your pores deeply cleansed, refreshed, and your skin absolutely glowing and supple. The reason this particular oil blend works so well is it has the perfect blend of cleansing, penetrating and non-greasy oils. Eight organic oils, nothing more. Highly effective. Elegantly Simple.

And Why It Works So Well For Acne Prone Skin

Now for all of you with Acne Prone Skin, Cleanse And Glow is precisely the right blend of oils to give your skin a deep and gentle cleanse. The blend of anti-inflammatory oils were selected for the linoleic, linolenic, and oleic fatty acid profiles. Its unique composition mimics the makeup of sebum, your skin's natural oil, which, in excess, can cause breakouts and blemishes. Because the fatty acid profile of the oils is so similar, the product is able to dissolve coagulated sebum that's clogging your pores (blackheads) and causing breakouts, which makes it absolutely perfect for those who struggle with acne.

What Oils Are In Cleanse And Glow And What's Their Benefit To Your Skin

Rosemary Seed Oil: Rosemary seed oil is a wonderful antioxidant. Blackheads, contrary to common belief, are not dirty pores. They are a buildup of sebum (oils) that has been exposed to oxygen, causing them to turn black. In this blend, rosemary seed oil helps to prevent your skin's natural, healthy and protective oils from oxidizing and creating uncomfortable blackheads.

Grapeseed Oil: Light, clear and thin, this non-comedogenic oil penetrates the skin with ease. The beauty of grapeseed oil is that it will tone and tighten the skin with nourishing linoleic acids. It's also great for reducing sun damage, fading scars, and tending to dark circles.

Kukui Oil: Kukui nut oil is excellent for moisturization as it promotes the growth of new skin cells. Because it's rich in antioxidants, it can also help to boost natural collagen production and encourages your skin to slough spent skin cells as needed. Its anti-inflammatory properties make it a great option for anyone who deals with regular breakouts.

Sunflower Seed Oil: A light oil that's very rich in Vitamin E, as well as A, C, and D. It's very moisturizing for skin, easily absorbed. Sunflower oil is especially beneficial for acne or irritation-prone skin.

Castor Oil: When it comes to detoxification of the skin, few oils are as effective as castor. It is quite similar to the makeup of sebum, which gives it the unique ability to dissolve excess sebum that clogs up your pores and glands. When used properly, it can disinfect and kill bacteria while lightly moisturizing and preventing future breakouts.

Safflower Oil: Safflower oil prevents dryness and roughness and removes dirt and excess oil. Its composition makes safflower oil a key treatment for issues including eczema, psoriasis, and acne. Its hydrating properties lend skin a healthy glow, promote elasticity, and reduce the appearance of wrinkles.

Meadowfoam Oil: Native to Northern California, the meadow foam flower is very helpful in keeping your skin balanced. Its composition is very similar to your skin's natural oils, so it helps to even out excess sebum without overdrawing the skin. It's the perfect moisturizer for morning use because it's light and dewy and will keep your face plump and glowing without making it slick or shiny.

Red Raspberry Seed: Red raspberry reed oil has the highest levels of alpha linolenic acid of any oil, making it ideal for anti-inflammatory purposes. Plus, it's great for UVB protection and has plenty of phytosterols, which help reduce water loss in the skin, allowing it to remain perfectly hydrated no matter what the weather conditions look like.

Directions

Oil cleansing involves massaging a suitable oil onto your dry skin to break down makeup, sunscreen, sebum, and other impurities.

The oil effectively bonds with these substances, allowing them to be easily rinsed away. Here's a step-by-step guide:

  • Apply a small amount to your hands and gently massage into your skin. Let it sit for 5 or 10 minutes to work its magic.
  • If you're in the mood for a refresher, follow up with our Delicate Cleanser and continue with the rest of your skincare routine.
  • If you don't wear makeup and like how nice and soft your skin feels after applying the oil, leave it on and let it continue to work its magic. The oil will completely absorb into your skin within a few minutes, leaving a soft, healthy, dewy, non-greasy, non-sticky finish.
  • Wonderful for use both morning and night. Can be left on overnight or worn throughout the day.

    Best product ever.

Please know that I mean this. I HAD bacterial acne that nothing would help. I tried medicated creams, oxy and more. These products would bleach my towels and I can only assume what the did to my skin. For several years now I have been acne free and a loyal customer. Take the dive. I use the cleanser, toner, sunscreen, and cleanse and glow oil. Love them.

    Love this!

So I read some other reviews before trying this. I tried it as a pre wash but I didn’t feel I needed that much happening for washing my face due not wearing make up daily SO I started using this at night time over my moisturizer. I love it. My skin to me appears to be more glowing in the mornings, more vibrant. I will say other reviewers said it’s not greasy/oily but I will say for me with it being over my mositurizer it is a tad oily when I fall asleep but it’s not at alll when I wake in the morning.

    Not a cleanser

It should not be grouped with the cleansers. It’s a pre-cleanser. You still need a cleanser which would’ve been helpful to know. I would’ve ordered a cleanser instead.
