Briefly, What's It Mean To Be Organic And What's It Mean To Be Wildcrafted?

Where possible, we choose wildcrafted cultivated oils over organic certified standards. This is because we typically prefer a small grower who is passionate about what they grow and how they grow their crops. When this isn't possible, we of course elect to use an organic certified ingredient. As one of our customers, what you need to know is that we are extremely careful to make sure everything in our products is 100% plant based and 100% clean.

The Benefits Of Using Organic Oils

  • Organic Ingredients in skincare products are derived from plants that are grown and harvested according to specific organic farming standards. These standards often prohibit the use of synthetic pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, and genetically modified organisms (GMOs). Organic farming practices prioritize the health of the soil, the environment, and the people involved in cultivation.

  • Benefits Of Organic: Organic ingredients are typically considered to be more environmentally friendly and have a lower impact on our ecosystems. They are also often free from potentially harmful chemicals, making them beneficial for your skin's health. Organic farming practices can contribute to soil conservation and reduce water pollution.

The Benefits Of Using Wildcrafted Oils

  • Wildcrafted ingredients come from plants that are harvested from their natural, wild habitats rather than being cultivated on farms. These plants are collected in a sustainable and ethical manner, respecting the local ecosystems and the balance of the environment.

  • Benefits Of Wildcrafted: Wildcrafted ingredients are often associated with the idea of capturing the plant's natural potency and energy. Because they are sourced from their native environments, they may contain a unique blend of nutrients and phytochemicals that have developed as a result of the plant's adaptation to its surroundings. While our wildcrafted ingredients are not organically certified we make sure they are cultivated to organic standards.
