Menopause And Your Skin

During and after menopause, your skin naturally begins to thin and show signs of age as a function of decreased production of collagen.

While there is nothing you can really do to prevent or reverse the aging process entirely, don't panic. You can certainly and effectively fight the appearance of aging and increase your comfort levels with a good regularly followed skin care regimen. Naturally. Without nasty drugs.

There is a specific instruction set for every product we make. If you have additional questions please don't hesitate to call.

General Guidelines:

1. Be gentle with your skin.

2. Never use anything abrasive to exfoliate your skin. When you scratch your skin it becomes defensive producing protective substances that exacerbate your condition.

3. Only cleanse in the evening before you go to bed and first thing in the morning before you start your day. If your skin becomes oily during the day use a sterol cotton cloth to gently blot the oil from your skin. If your skin feels dry, apply a small amount of moisturizer. Don't over do it.

4. No alcohol or peroxides.

5. See a professional esthetician every 4 months. Make sure you find one using a natural, holistic & organic approach.
