Studies have shown that people who have acne have lower levels of antioxidant vitamins and enzymes in their blood and higher levels of inflammation compared to folks without acne.

The best way to treat acne is from the inside out. Clean up your diet. Address your leaky gut and load up on foods rich in antioxidants.

Studies also show that external applications of antioxidants improve acne. But it's primarily an internal issue. Stay away from any acne treatments that claim to be a silver bullet. They are likely doing more harm than good.
